If this game looks similar to Stinger, that’s because Stinger is the sequel to TwinBee. TwinBee actually has a rather extensive series, though we never got any of them. The main difference between Stinger and TwinBee is that where Stinger has both vertical and side scrolling stages, TwinBee is purely a vertical scrolling shoot em up.
