STED: Starfield of Memorable Relics

What if Phantasy Star had ever been on the NES? This game basically answers that question. It is perhaps one of the most level grinding games I have ever played. Way more than any Dragon Quest game.
It’s a standard style RPG for the most part, but does a few things a bit differently – The overworld map is pretty much the same as any other with random encounters included. However monster have their relative level to you immediately displayed so there’s no guess work as to how tough they will be to fight and you are awarded experience points based on their relative difficulty.
At every level up you are given points to assign to various stats, basically allowing you to customize your characters however you see fit, though certain weapons and gear are only available to specific party members.
There’s also a robot in your group that gets stronger based on the upgrades you buy for it.
